I am currently a graduate student at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and am planning on graduating in May 2002. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL in May 2000 with a BM in clarinet performance. I am originally from North Aurora, IL, near Chicago. I have played a Buffet Festival Bb clarinet since 1995, a Buffet R-13 A clarinet since 1998, and a Buffet R-13 Eb clarinet since 2000. I have a lot of band experience and some chamber music and orchestral experience also. I play in the SIU Wind Ensemble and the Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra. I also give lessons and work as a graduate assistant at SIU (music theory, band, and next year stage manager).
