Kathy is currently a music teacher in the public schools, having experience at all three levels (elementary, middle, and high schools). She works with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade budding musicians in her band, orchestra, and choir classes. In addition to teaching music full time, she maintains an active performing schedule playing with a local collegiate wind ensemble, a local opera company, a local symphony, and spends her summers as a woodwind doubler (playing flute and saxophone in addition to clarinet) for a local civic light opera company.
