Of general interest to clarinet players: Dr. Jim Fay of the Virginia Community College System has interesting clarinet related references on his personal home page. He also maintains a Klarinet FAQ for explanation of the workings of the Klarinet Mailing List. Jeff Harrington has made midi files and scores in postscript format available for several of his compositions, including a clarinet and piano duet, Tchoupitoulas Byrd Song. Rick Sowash has made several of his compositions for clarinet available online. Mike Moors maintains a lot of clarinet related material (along with many animated graphics) on his home page. The clarinetists at James Madison University have started a wonderful Web page with links to Clarinet Studios If you are running or are a member of a clarinet studio why not drop them a line and have your studio added? The Musicians Gallery features biographies of contemporary musicians. Midi and downloadable PDF scores of public domain classical music is available at http://www.music-scores.com/. A number of piano accompaniments is available at http://www.clarinet-players.co.uk/, made possible by Tim Foxon. Chinese Flutes (dizi): http://www.chinese-flute.com/. A site dedicated to Francis Poulenc http://www.francispoulenc.com/. |
